Absence Management: The positive management of absence requires a policy to reduce absence and manage positively that which may arise. This Absenteeism Policy will normally include:
• Return to Work Forms to specify what tasks the employee should or should not do.
• Sample letters to send to Doctors to elicit what tasks the employee may safely undertake.
• Advice and policy documents to guide the management of personnel when they are off sick and also when they return to work.
Case management: Sensitive and effective management of individual cases is critical to timely return to work. AfW Consulting can provide support by undertaking elements of absentee management on your behalf, including the implementation and overview of Graduated Return to Work.
